The Chicago City Council recently voted to adopt an update to the Chicago Building Code, the first major update in 70 years. The new, modern code will enable safer, more cost-effective and innovative construction by more closely aligning Chicago’s construction requirements with the national standards. The Chicagoland AGC is hosting a Lunch & Learn with Chicago Building Commissioner Judy Frydland to bring members up to date on the changes.
